Breck's Bulbs - Better Not Need It This Year!

On April 30th, I ordered 2 mixed "grab bags" of bulbs from Breck's. At that time, the delivery estimate was between May 11th and May 15th. I ordered with the expectation that I would have them in time to give them as belated Mother's Day gifts to my mom and mother-in-law. When I checked the order status a week later, delivery was pushed back to 1 week and, since then, has been pushed back 4 more times.
When I called on May 17th to cancel the order, I was told that it has already been "printed" and that they could not cancel the order before it shipped out. When I asked when that would be, I was told "3-4 days". When I checked the order status on their website otday, May 21st, it STILL SHOWS AS NOT SHIPPED! In addition, the delivery estimate is now May 28th - June 11.
The only thing they can tell me is, sorry for your inconvenience". They have absolutely NO idea when the order will actually ship and they will not refund my money until I receive the order. How's that for a Catch 22???
I can only recommend that anyone interested in buying bulbs or flowers consider looking elsewhere, unless you are placing your order for next year's supplies!!
