Went to Sam's Club and needed a new vacuum. Saw the Hoover Windtunnel model #U6485-900... It had everything that a vacuum needs... Had it for 3 months. Didn't get to use it much until the last 2 weeks, when we had new carpet installed throughout the house and had all the baseboards re-painted... in the same color... Off-white.
I used the vacuum twice and noticed it left black marks on the baseboards... The bumper guard on the vacuum was leaving the marks on my walls... It cannot be scrubbed off and will have to re-paint those areas again. We contacted Hoover via internet and never did hear anything from that method.
After 4 days I called Hoover and spoke to an un-informed young lady who put me on hold every time she asked me a question, and finally told me there wasn't anything they could do. I asked about returning it and getting a refund for the vacuum and I was told that wouldn't be possible.
