GREGORY ROBINSON, CONTRACTOR I have to re-do everything they did. What a mess!

Real Pro bid the job, claiming to have experience and know how. The addition was built onto a stable existing structure. The job took a year longer than they claimed and through a series of "change orders" became very expensive. Ultimately, Real Pro left the job without a word, with the home owner having to finish the project on its own.

In order to finalize the project, new contractors were called in... Each specialist showed shock and horror at the job done by Real Pro. The roof is leaking all the way through the eaves and vents through the 2nd and first floors into the basement. The roof need to be replaced as well as the walls on the first, second and basement floors. The floor in the first floor has to be replaced as well. The floors in the house (new and existing) are buckling because the addition is unstable and pulling the existing house. The carpets are pulling up, the doors are no longer closing as the house is uneven. The deck is about 6" off so that it tilts.

Water was pouring out of the ceiling because they didn't attach the new roof to the old one correctly.

The siding is cracking and peeling off.

This is all within 2 years of the construction. I cannot get a final inspection, so the job is still "open."

I'm stuck... With no extra money to pay for a contractor to finish the job or a lawyer to sue...

I wish I never hired them... I regret it every day.
