Awful, awful, awful

Mr. Handyman Sales Manager (John) arrived to check out our work on Friday evening, informed us: 1) "I assure an estimation within twenty four hours" and 2) "There's no cash settled before work is performed". On Thursday (48 hours later) he named by having an estimation and stated that 50% deposit is "regular". We were organizing to get a mortgage using the credit union and would not possess the cash till after-work on Friday, therefore he decided to arrived at the home on Mon (Memorial Day - each day off for my spouse and that I) day at 9am. No term from him by 10am, so-called his cell and quit a note, subsequently named what I believed was work quantity — works out it's an answering service. She stated she'll try to look for him. We eventually got a phone from him Wednesday evening — informed him to overlook it. I am so happy he didnot appear, we saved $1700.00 with another person get it done - he'd the task finished your day after he arrived to keep in touch with us and provide an estimation & plus didnot need any till it had been completed!!!
