I am the 2nd operator of the Pulte townhouse in Illinois that will be today about 5 yrs old. Exactly what a dump. Horrible, substandard construction throughout.

Drywall joints between roof and surfaces are separating in most space within the location. The floors squeak (a lot more like groan) within the master suite (two distinct places), upstairs hall, dining room and family room. I have lived in 100-year old homes that did not have ground sound such as this.

The steps between your first and second-floor creak so much, I worry I'll need to tear-out the flooring and fix.

Your kitchen lighting between your windows is not actually focused and also you need to swag it aside anyhow to help you place a desk under it. Should you abandon it in unique placement the fridge door slams in to the seats (good work from the architect!).

Don't actually purchase out of this contractor. The designs seem fantastic. The particular houses are crap.
