Certified Chimney Professionals did half the job, took my money, and never came back. They made repeated promises to return ASAP and broke those promises every time.
I had to hire a reputable company to finish the job CCP was paid for and did not complete (parging the smoke chamber, affixing stainless steel caps, applying CrownCoat) AND to fix the mistakes CCP made (CCP affixed the damper improperly, allowing for a several inch gap in the closed position).
These guys go by many names, including Certified Chimney Professionals and Chimneytechs. The email address is always wesweepforyou@yahoo.com (possibly also at sbcglobal) and the phone numbers include 847-847-9966,630-855-6544,773-408-7134, and I believe 847-888-7118.
Do not hire these guys, and do not trust them.
