Unfair Selling Practices, will not return calls or emails, will not refund money, phone number does not work

I ordered a "Catcher in the Rye Snowglobe" from Argosy Bookshop and paid them $28.96 on 9/23/09. I still had not received it on 10/6/09 and began trying to reach them by telephone and email. No one ever answered the phone and there was no way to leave a message. An operator recording kept coming on saying "This Sprint customer could not be reached."
I finally received the item on 10/8 but knew immediately I had to return it because there was profanity written on (not disclosed in ad) and I could not give this to my niece. I packaged it right back up like it was, went straight to post office, paid extra to have it shipped in 2 days and get signature confirmation.
I emailed Argosy when I got signature confirmation that they had received it. I asked them when they would be refunding my credit card. They first said it was in "unresaleable condition" and then said they "do not loan or rent items." I emailed them back several times asking what that meant and saying I had sent it back same day in exact same condition as I received it. I told them I would be filing a complaint against them.
