Alan Pratt of Atlanta Area Roof Specialist call me, said he wanted me to call and set up roofing appointments in storm damage areas of Atlanta. I told him I charge $20.00 per hour with an $800.00 initial draw-down retainer. That would have paid for one week of calling for him. When that would have run out, then he would normally have sent me another $800.00. Due to many companies giving me bad checks, I no longer accept them, so I told him to send it by Wester Union, as PayPal has a $500.00 cap.

He stated that he did not work that way and that he paid by the set appointment. He said he would pay me $800.00 for 50 appointments, then he changed it to $400.00 for 25 leads per week. He was supposed to send me the calling list. I struggled opening the list for two days, finally on the third day they sent me one in Excel format that would open. I did not know that he put me on a timer.

I had set one appointment and then the next day I got an email from him, stating that I had done a deplorable job, and he wanted his money back. He threatened to file a complaint with the Police and the FBI. I in turn filed my complaints about him and his company with the same authorities. His last email was a threat to my physical safety and a very insulting and incorrect description of my physical appearance!

Stay away this man! He does not pay, nor is he a valid employer!
