Ripoff company slams our future into a brick wall

We were moving from michigan to ohio due to company being bought out. We looked at a house in euclid ohio and wanted to buy.

The real estate person gave us names of 3 inspection companies. We chose one, aaa inspections, Steve Ballasch. He did an inspection on the house and the only thing that was said was that the roof was aging and the paint was failing and some other little minor details. The basement had moderate moisture.

Six months after we moved in (dec. 1998) niagra falls. We truned this into our insurance for 4,500ish. They paid.

We had a new roof put on and 6 months later, again niagra falls. Again we turned into our insurance they paid 1,500 then cancelled our policy.

We are now with ohio fair plan at triple the rates until our report falls off of our c.L.U.E. Report.

I had a housing engineer come out to look at what the problem is this year. He said the inspector missed the dormer roof bowing due to lack of support. The inspector missed the dormer that was added on in 1969 covering up a valley causing a "birdbath" (holds water and the only place for it to go is inside the house.)

He missed the containers that the previous homeowners put up in the attic to catch the water. He missed the garage door header where the cars go in bowing due to not enough support.

We had our attorney write him a letter and he stated that he let us know of the aging roof and leaky gutters. Not about the bowing roofs and the missing saddle.
