Beware

Employed Shaun Hamp (Oak Hill, VA) to complete a terrace along with a fencing for my house. He did the demolition on 6/23, and we got authorization in the HOA on 7/15. Since that time, he's not turned up five times when he particularly stated he would. One of his true guys began searching the footers, but he never ripped the permits, and he quit the footers imperfect, departing dust piled-up on my garden. He quit it-this method for three months and not returned. Then stated he'd give me my deposit back (which he'd since end-of May, to-order the supplies which never arrived) and he'd come by on Sunday 8/30 having a check. He never confirmed. E-mails and telephone calls later - no reaction.

Spoke to him about the telephone (ultimately) the Thursday after, he stated he'd come without a doubt on Friday. Did not appear on Friday, stated he'd be there on Sunday. Did not appear on Sunday at-all, though he did come by on Sunday (eventually!) and took away a few of the timber trash after being there for a few months.

However, he did not have my cash, and stated he'd contact 24 hours later. He did contact 24 hours later, and stated he'd possess the cash in my experience by Thursday, newest by Friday. No-call Friday. Sent Friday, no reaction until Saturday where he stated he is likely to mail me a partial cost by registered email, and might have the whole cash in my experience by Friday.
