I have experienced it with TECO! My dad would assure my deposit and that I've created many telephone calls to simply obtain the run-around! My dad has excellent credit and it has settled his statement promptly for over 30yrs with TECO. I had been simply advised that his credit is not adequate to assist people using the additional necessary deposit. We have been unemployed for over 7mos. And yes we have settled late but never had our elcetric stop! Just how can they hold-over $550. Oo to get a deposit (in case) we abandon our home! They're the only real elcectric organization, exactly what a monopoly!!! Is that this legitimate?
