Dana Capitol Ripped us off too!

Homeowners Friend, Dana Capitol ripped us off also. I recived numerous faxes and decided to check them out. What a nightmare! In short, we were do to go to closing on Dec. 23rd (paperwork reflected Dec. 27th, after the right to cancel). The fixed 6% rate offered eneded up being a 9.25%. We were given an explaination that the banks changed rates overnight, and we would be eligible for a no cost-refinance in 3-4 months, when the rates dropped (never happened). Also, terms of the loan that was promissed never happened (all different). We had a good mortgage history at that point, and didn't want to mess it up. The Loan didn't fund timely (said there was an error on escrows behalf). We ended up with a late reporting on our credit report as a result. We have been stuck in a rate we can't afford, and are now fighting to keep our home. Please Help!
