Alarm company Fradulent billing

When I bought my home in Palm Springs, I received a call from PFL Security services asking me if I'd like to continue using them for a home alarm system. Unfortunately, I said "yes, " but only after clarifying with the owner of that company that the main house and casita were ONE PROPERTY. After all, there is one street address, which receives one electric bill, one gas bill, one phone bill, etc. He had wanted to charge me for two separate monitoring systems, but I said "no, " and said I wouldn't use PFL if this were the case. He agreed.

Of course, they ended up billing me for two. I'm just sick to death of talking to them about it, and have finally paid them because I can't afford the time any more. BE WARNED, though, that these are unscrupulous, lying, unethical people who are not to be trusted.

When I called today to cancel, they hung up on me twice — and then failed to pick up again — so that I would not be able to cancel. Unbelievable, but a nice demonstration of the "professionalism" they bring to the job.
