Click's Construction - Shawn Hendon
Proceed with caution in dealing with this company and particular individual!

I contracted with Shawn Hendon, representing Click's Construction more than six weeks ago. I sent him drawings and a check for 1,000.00 1 month ago. We had three appointments set up after he cashed the check to go over final details and he cancelled every one of them. First he said he was very involved in another job which took all his time but was ending the end of May. Then he said he needed some engineering drawings which the city required and he would get back to me shortly. I have put at least 10 calls to him which went unreturned. The only call he made a week ago was to cancel our last scheduled appointment and instead of calling the numbers I gave him, he called my home phone, knowing I wouldn't be there, so I still haven't spoken to him.

In doing research today, it appears he is using Click's Construction license, which his name is not on and has been also known as Clearly Better Pool Enclosures and Carothers Contractors Screening and Pool Enclosures. At this point, I am very concerned about my deposit and whether he had any intention of doing this job. I hope I am wrong... I just put another call into his home in hopes of a return call with an explaination, however, I am not optimistic. The license number he is using is #CGC1512722. I do not know where to look that up to see if it is legit. Any information you can provide would be helpful.
