Refund rip-off

I ordered hardwood flooring from beaverhome.com on 2/23/01 on the condition that it be delivered by 3/15/01. They told me that if I cancelled my order that I would get a full refund, no conditions. They had nothing to ship as of 3/12/01 and talked me into accepting substitute goods in two seperate mismatched batches but even this they did not ship out until 3/15 which was too late for my needs.

I requested a refund. Over the past 4 months I have been lied to repeatedly and been told all sort of stories about why they are not sending me my refund under their no questions asked 30 days money back guarantee.

The owner, Neal Martin a.K.A. The Big Beaver generally refuses to speak to customers regarding refunds yet he is the only person who can grant a refund. On the two occasions that I was able to speak to him he was rude and defensive.

So far they have been promising that I will get a refund minus over $600 in fees that were never disclosed even those promises have been false. Im still waiting for my $3,584 refund more than four months since beaverhome.com took delivery of the returned goods from the shipping company.

From speaking with various parties, I believe that there are hundreds or thousands of people with similar or worse stories of woe regarding beaverhome. Some have been waiting over a year. It seems that Mr. Martin takes personal offense if you want a refund and he wont grant it unless he feels like it.
