Omega 2000 Group / George Sararu
Charges for replacement parts, but refuses to actually send them

I purchased a tankless water heater from Omega 2000 group back in '04. About a year ago, I began having problems with the hot water cutting out while taking a shower, etc. I went online and ordered a replacement part for the heater, and after no response from the owner, George Sararu, I ended up calling and emailing Mr. Sararu trying to find out the reason for the delay... Every time, a different excuse, until he finally claimed he had delivered the part (he hadn't) I finally contacted Paypal for a refund, which I did receive. Recently with the problem with the water heater noticeably worse, I tried to order the part again (this time keeping meticulous records of emails, images of the web page showing my order as still "pending" after 3 weeks. Mr. Sararu first said the part was sent out that day, a later email (several days later) said it hadn't been shipped, but would be hand delivered the following morning, the next day I emailed to indicate no part. Mr. Sararu emailed me that same day that the part had shipped almost a week ago (contradicting his earlier emails). He became very nasty in his emails, and shows no sign of sending the part he has already been paid for. Without this part, I will be forced to buy a replacement (not an Omega I assure you).

For anyone considering buying a heater from Omega I implore you to do a Google map of both his "office" in Hemet, CA and the manufacturing plant in Nevada... It might just change your mind.
