3 Major Repairs In 6 Years. No Help From Trane Or Distributor. Trane product is no longer high quality. The Organization is set up to confuse the consumer

I bought a Trane XB1000 with my new house six years ago.in that time, I've had to have the unit repaired three times. The first time was a blown capacitor (exploded all over the unit). The second was a loss of coolant due to two copper tubes inside the unit rubbing together and causing a hole. The third repair will be exactly the same as the second.

These tubes are inside the unit. This can only be due to poor engineering or poor build quality. Either leads you directly back to Trane.

I've tried to contact Trane, my installer and the local distributor. Each points the finger at someone else. The distributor and Trane or the worst pointing to the warranty and using this to absolve them of all liability.

To even get to the point where I was told I had no recourse, took several calls and lots of emails.

I have worked for very large companies with over 300,000 employees. I am very good at navigating bureaucracy. I also know the difference between a well meaning organization that can't get out of their own way and a company that uses obfuscation as a way of keeping customers at a distance... Unfortunately, Trane has shown themselves to be the latter of the two.

Message to Trane,
You don't seem to be very interested in the consumer side of the market. Why not save us and yourself some headaches and get out.
