Damaged Gas Stove Delivered and Driver Tried to Install It

We ordered appliance from Sears. The stove was delivered damaged, and the driver insisted that he could install it. He wanted to install it so we would not see the damage or that the correct installation person who was scheduled to install it would see the damage also.
When he connected the stove the flames went up over 2 feet, he suggested that I should not turn the valve on completely. He did not know he had to convert the stove from natural gas to propane. I insisted that he left the house and I insisted that the correct installer would take care of the installation.
