(Mark) Property drainage problems

This guy spouts technical jargon during the estimate phase, then fails to conduct any real tests before deciding on a remedy. His experience is supposed to suffice in lieu of the very tests he sites (percolation test and soil composition testing).

Our complaint, because a single house turned into five inter-related jobs, was about the lack of the promised follow-up. Drainage problems continued, although at a much lesser degree. The trench should have been deeper and he should have utilized larger diameter pipes. The sidewalk he dug under fractured and holes developed from settling.

He finally returned to examine the problems, only to scoff at what he called 'minor' issues that we could handle on our own! This was a six thousand dollar job, mind you, yet he stormed off never to be seen again.

Unprofessional businessman operating like a used car dealer. Better to hire a real company with thier own equipment and real laborers than this one man plus a sometimes assistant operation.
