In January I purchased 2 living room sets from DEPOT CHEAPO, in Palm, Pa. 1st, it took almost 4 weeks to get the furniture. 2nd, when it was delivered we noticed the Ottoman was torn, drawer was broke, and wheels were not correct. The sectional had missing bottoms to the cup holders. We told PHIL HURT (owner) of the problem while he was standing in my living room looking at the furniture. He said no problem it has a 1 yr warantee through Ashley Furniture. I waited, waited and waited through the summer for PHIL to get a replacement set for me. NOTHING! I called the store repeatedly over the summer and drove there. The store was closed for a few months.in Sept he returned and I started again with him to get a replacement. NOTHING! In the meantime, the other set collapsed, the cushions on the foot rests were now all wood, no padding left and the rear corner had collapsed.in October I contacted Ashley Furniture to file a complaint with them about their furniture, they were no help. Finally after repeated visits and phone calls to PHIL HURT (DEPOT CHEAPO) October he finally ordered a replacement set for the 1 set that had all the cusions collapsed (love seat and sofa recliners, Dura Plush). PHIL HURT stated to me verbally and in writing that he would pay me the difference if I chose another set that was less expensive than the 1st, or I would pay him the difference if I picked a more expensive set. I agreed and chose a set that was $600 less than the original.in approx 2 weeks I had the new set NO OTTOMAN, he said "next weeks truck", that was November 9th. Now it's 2 weeks before Christmas. I went to the store 2 times a week and called 2 times a week to find out the status of the order of my 2nd set, and the $600 refund the Ottoman. My last visit was on December 10th when I went to the store with my daughter and her friend to get my $600, PHIL HURT SCREAMED, CURSED, THREATENED ME, THEN TOOK A SWING AT ME AND THREW ME OUT OF HIS STORE! As I was trying to leave the store with my daughter and her friend PHIL HURT continued screaming, cursing, punching furniture, slamming doors. Now this is December 16th and I still do not have the Ottoman, $600 refund, or the 2nd set of furniture replaced. I do not know what to do, a lawyer will cost me entirely too much money to try to get back what is owed to me.in the meantime Ashley Furniture will not respond to my emails or phone calls. I have emailed my local news channel to help me, I have not heard back from them either. If anyone out there can help me PLEASE contact me! Thank You..
