In January Excel Roofing replaced our roof for $9,900.00. They did not put down plywood under the shingles and the nails kept popping up. Their installation guarantee only covers leakage. My husband is 74 years old and we have snow on our roof all winter so he didn't feel he could get up there and pound down the nails any more. We had to pay $11,000 in October - less than 3 years later - to have a new roof installed. They said they did it at cost. Unless you have lots of extra money to spend on a roof find another roofer. Be sure they guarantee their installation and will do the job right the first time.
