Owes me $800.00 for furniture that they never delivered

On 10/17/08 i went to p&a furniture outlet. The owner showed me some item. I told him i just moved into a new apartment and need a bedroom set & living room set my buget was $1,400. I pick out some items and ask what is the payment cash or charge? He told me cash. I paid the cash that same day and the delivery was for the next day (8am-12pm). I took that saturday off but the delivery guys didnt show. I call at 3pm the owner told me that the would be late and will come at 7pm that same night.
It was 10pm when they showed up but with only the bedroom set. They said the living room set was damged intransit and would be delivered the monday 10/19/08. Showing that i was upset the delivery man try to sell me a wall unit that another customer didnt get. (stolen goods) i told him no an he left. That monday i went to the store only to be told that the items will be deliverd that night monday turned to thursday and no phone call were ever returned.
That friday i went back to the store and was told that the reaming items (living room and mattress) would be deliver that night. I told the owner " if thier is any problem with the delivery (truck broke down ect) call me and dont have me waiting. If you dont show up i want my remaing $800.00 back. He complyed.
Friday came and went saturday i call the store over 20 time no one answered the phone (he saw my phone # on caller id and didnt want to answer).
I went their again saturday afternoon for my refund. I was told " i dont have that kind of cash here. I told him ok i will return monday morning to get the money he said ok. Today is monday 10/27/08 and he told me he still does not have the money. So i guess i have to go to samll claims court loose a day of pay from work all because of this company and broken promisses.
