When I bought my current house we purchased an AHS warranty "just in case". Sure enough we had heat-pump problems. Using the automated system I submitted a service request on 7/30.
They diagnosed it as needing a compressor. We've been waiting for months now. We've been told they're having difficulty getting the part. I have an acquaintance in the AC business. I had him contact the manufacturer directly and he was told the compressor was available.
Even after multiple calls I'm still unable to get a commitment as to when someone will repair the unit.
What I'd like to resolve this:
1) A specific day for my service appointment
2) A refund of the service call fee
Considering it's been months I dont think either request is unreasonable.
