Deceived, Ripped Off, Lied, Denied, and never Apologized! Save your money!

Never do business with this company!!! I have never been more upset. I actually went to the BBB over Home Warranty and their illegal practices.

When an employee called me to renew our contract, I wanted to wait b/c we were selling our home and offering a 1 yr warranty with it. The girl on the phone said no prob! When you sell, call back and we will prorate the number of months you need to add on to make the warranty good for a full year for the new homeowners. I said great, I'll renew.

Well, 4 months later, we are in the process of selling our home to the new owners and I call Home Warranty back. I was tossed around to 7 different people, including the original girl I spoke with. SHe said no prob, call accounting and they will charge you for the 4 months you need. So, I called them. They practically accused me of lying and said they do not offer extensions or prorated months. I then told them I had just spoken with a girl that sold me the renewal and she reassured me they would.

By the time I finished talking with all 7 employees, I was out all that money! I had to pay an additional $150 and they even accused me of lying. I have never done business with such an awful company. I have worked in customer service for 15 years and would NEVER accuse someone outright of lying, especially when they had documentation of everything that had taken place.

Please, spare yourself the time, trouble, and money and DO NOT do business with this company. Life is too short to deal with such a crooked company!!!
