They refuse to repair the air conditioner which they installed 2 years ago repaired last year & is broken again saying they don't do repairs which is obviously a lie! These are bad people

Over 2 years ago palone bros.installed an air conditioner for our 3rd floor apartment on the outside wall. It was installed with defects which they repaired at the time, requiring a tall ladder. It is broken again (in hot NY summer weather), and they sent 2 guys to check it last week for a minimum $150 charge - who left after saying they need the ladder to even look at it. Now the company has said first that it is too dangerous to repair, and then (preposterously) that they don't do repairs except on warranty - despite what they said last week (see $150 charge policy above). These guys took the big cash for the installation without objection, and now see that their lemon will require some work to keep it going - and they are lying like crazy to avoid having to service the unit. Don't do business with palone bros.!
