Scamming vulnerable consumers — selling a $2,000 vacuum — $2k is not a typo

Northern Aire is a text book rip-off artist colony. They are producing new con artist recruits as fast as they can get them in the door. They prey on young, naive sales people (sadly in our case it was our niece... She is too naive, inexperienced and desparate to know any better) and ask them to approach your family requesting an opportunity to "practice" speaking in front of others for their new job.in our case, my mom opened her door, heart and wallet to her aspiring niece—trying to support her while being lulled in by a smooth sales speech perfected no doubt by professional scam artists.

Once I learned that my mom signed up for a $2,000 vacuum—yep—that's right—$2,000... I did a bit of research on Northern Aire. I found several stories like the one I read on this site from another victim. I also found out that the BBB has had claims filed for reasons of sales practices, contract issues, etc. My mother followed their contract to the BEST OF REASONABLE ability—she faxed her cancellation wishes within just a few days after the "sale"—and since then she has been given the run around by everyone involved—yep, even by her own niece. It is disgusting and sad.

The company has convinced my niece to act unethically as well—telling her that she cannot accept a returned item. Well it turns out that it is literally impossible to return anything to Northern Aire. We are exploiting every possible angle and will continue until this company is exposed for what they are.
