Appliance Repair King Joey Proper
Paid $195 for a refrigerator repair. Still doesn't work and phone is disconnected

I located Joey Proper through an advertisement he placed on the Dallas Craigslist site. When I phoned him he was very helpful and offered same day service in mid February. My refrigerator worked for a couple of days and then stopped. My receipt from Joey Proper states the work is guaranteed so I gave him a call. He promised to call me back and didn't. I left a couple of messages for him—no call back. My husband spoke with Joey and he said he would need to get back with us. Since then his number (213-486-0190) has been disconnected. From seeing other complaints my belief is this guy is just a scam. I am out $195 and have a non-working refrigerator.
