Scam, deceitful, took my money and didn't fulfill their part of the deal

Construction & Repair

I ordered a "Magic Bullet" (blender) from the company in early November for 49.95. It was a Christmas present, and there should have been plenty of time. I also placed a separate order of small "As Seen on T.V." items for 29.95

No package arrived in early December, but I did get my charge bill for the above items. I paid it. No problem.

As Christmas neared, I began to get nervous, but then I received a package from BizBuilder. The Magic Bullet on the internet advertised 37 parts / attachments, etc. What I received was an 11 part set. I called the company and asked where the rest of my 37 piece set was. The lady said it was on back order and was being shipped from China. I asked her if the supplemental parts would be in before Christmas, and she said no, probably not until January sometime.

So, I bought another Magic Bullet from a local store, so I'd have the complete gift for Christmas. To make a very long and tedious story short, I never received the small items for $29.95, and BizBuilder ignored my requests to credit my charge for the mess-up. The Magic Bullet went on and on. They told me to read the fine print in the ad. I couldn't return the merchandise for a complete refund without a "Return Merchandise Authorization".in bold print the company stated that if I returned the merchandise without their authorization, I would be out the merchandise AND my money. I requested one. They ignored my requests.

Finally, the company responded, saying that, "Certainly. We'll be happy to refund your purchase. Of course, you do know that the shipping charges will be about $10, and our company keeps 50% of the refunded amount for stocking fees. Are you sure you want to go through with the refund?"

Of course I didn't! I never received all the parts I ordered, and now they wouldn't refund my money on something I didn't have! I called my credit card company, and I was fortunate enough to have saved all my documentation in email folders. I sent the emails to the credit card company, and let them handle it. I was credited with the $29.95. I'm still waiting to see about the $49.95...
