Omega 2000 Group scam artist misleads consumer misrepresents product

It is a common practice by George, the one man show, to claim the consumer "destroyed " the tankless heater after it is returned for a refund. I have heard of this occurring to several customers... The backbone of his company. I did not give him the opportunity to screw me a third time by sending my unit back to him. He claims to have authorized dealers to service the units if there is a problem. Goodluck finding one, as they always seem to be located a few hundred miles away (in reality there are none) As stated, he is a man of many hats, just call his "business" and you will get his cell phone, no receptionist, no service manager, no sales dept, just him and his rude comments. I would love to contact all his ebay buyers who left positive feedback and see if they are still happy.

And for his claims that the omega's are made in the U.S.A. Is such a major lie. How many people have been taken in by that. After trying to get my 620 unit fixed I finally contacted the maker of the curcuit boards after finding a web address on the board. A Chinese co. Who told me after requesting a supplier in the U.S. Where I could purchase a board, that they distribute nothing in the U.S.A. And only to the maker of the units which is located in China. This is why you will not find any country of manufacture on the unit, packaging, or anywhere else. I did get a hell of alot more help from the board manufacturer than I ever got from George the con. They helped me troubleshoot by email until we found the problem. Your best bet is to contact the F.T.C. And make a complaint. Eventually this s.O.B. Will be stopped. The next best thing is to put your unit back up for sale on ebay and give a "very accurate description" of his product and his practices. He just loves seeing that occur as when I listed mine I received all kinds of threats from him including a lawsuit in federal court... Such a jerk! His day will come.
