Georgia Hyman, Walt (last Name Unknown), Store Manager Fraudulent Credit Card Application filed, EXTREMELY POOR customer service, INSULTING employees

This was the worst sales transaction I have ever encountered. I purchased a bed from Rooms To Go, the bed is fine but I recently received a CitiFinancial Retail Services (Rooms To Go) credit card in the mail which I did not knowingly apply for or informed of. The purchase date was 1/24/08, I received the credit card on 3/3/08. I was told I would receive a statement within 30-45 days of purchasing the bed that I have yet to receive. I immediatly canceled the credit card because I have NO use for a Rooms to Go credit card and was never told that an automatic application would be processed. I called the manager Walt at the Clearwater store explaining my situation to him and was told it was my fault that I had received the credit card. He was extremely rude, using inappropriate language and offering no explanation to the probloem, other than I was the idiot. I told him that I was a local business man and I treat my clients with the extreme respect and I would be telling people of the awful way I was treated. Walt informed me that the two people I knew wouldn't hurt there business anyway...

A week from the original phone call made I placed another call to the district manager, Georgia Hyman who works out of the Clearwater, Florida location. After I explained the situation to her she took the same approach as Walt by proceeding to tell me this was no fault of the sales associate or Rooms To Go as a company. Georgia was also extremely rude, offering no solution and telling me that I had an argument that made no sense.

Where is the customer service and Rooms to Go as far as taking ownership for there actions? Beware of rooms to go scams and incompetent management.
