Bad Customer Experience

Kevin Fowler with Bio-Seal Systems, LLC is an insulation contractor in Middle Tennessee (and I believe West Tennessee too). I attempted to work with Mr. Fowler as he installs a particular insulation product that I was very interested in using. I found Mr. Fowler to be extremely unresponsive to me as the customer. He rarely returned any voicemail that I left him. I worked for almost a month to get him to schedule my work with very little success or sign of commitment from him. He finally committed to beginning my work on a first thing in the morning on an agreed date and I spoke with him two days prior to the committed start date to confirm the start of work.

The day that the work was to begin, the crew did not show up on site. I began to call Mr. Fowler and he never returned any of my phone calls. The next day I found another phone number for his company and did get a call back from one of his associates who indicated that they wouldn't be able to get to my work for another week at the earliest.

If Mr. Fowler was unable to meet his commitment, I think he should have at least called me to let me know that there had been a delay. He certainly should have returned my phone calls to him the day that the work was scheduled to begin. I also probably wouldn't be so upset about this except for the difficulty that I had communicating with Mr. Fowler in the weeks leading up to finally getting a hollow commitment from him to do my job.

I have since moved on to another company that seems much more willing to communicate with the customer.

In summary, I would not recommend Mr. Fowler or Bio-Seal Systems for any work unless you are prepared to be very frustrated.
