We too had an aweful experience with Empire and never again would I recommend this Company

We too had an aweful experience with Empire and never again would I recommend this Company nor even give them a good thought. All we have is a bitter taste in our mouth from our 3 days.

In August we emailed Empire and asked to have a Sales Associate contact us. That person called us next day, we made an appointment and got along great; We did however not make a decision for another week. When we were in contact with our Sales Person again, he told us that he did not have our Paperwork any longer, these are his words "I had an appointment in the Slums of Milwaukee and must have left my notepad there". Now this has all our info on it, address, phone and whatever else we discussed that evening.

So we went over everything again and "I" had to tell the Man what the estimate was, since I write these things down. This was on Tuesday, we set up to receive our Carpeting installed on Thursday (I took 2 days off work, 1 to have the carpet installed and 1 to put the house back together). Our Doorbell rang at about 7:30am and the only one of the Workers that spoke english asked where to start; our thought was work from the Master bedroom out so we can start putting things back together, there was a startled look on the Workers face, they did not have enough carpeting.

I called our Sales guy up, he didn't know we were including the Master Bedroom, was his excuse then he said he would make a call to Empire; calling me back all he had to say to me was that the home could be finished the next day first thing. First thing to me and to Empire must not mean the same thing& to me it meant like the morning prior, someone would be there early.By 10am, I called Empire for the first time - after that another 3-4 times, having to hold and wait for someone to get an answer for us. At 12:45pm they finally knocked on our door, the excuse "we knocked on the door and nobody answered". Wrong answer buddy. I was there all along so was my husband, besides that my beautiful protective Labrador Retriever would definatelly have made some noise.

These guys did not carpet my closet, left a mess all over, left the boards with the tacks laying on the floors all over and besides that they broke our Patio Door Blind.

I was compensated for $200 in damages but that did not make up for the agravation.By the way, our Sales Man, who's name I so can not remember, never returned any of my calls after Thursday morning. Coward.

PS for all you people calling your Sales People from Empire: this Sales guy told us that when People call him that he does not find worthy or have small jobs, live in bad neighborhoods, etc he does not return their call or keeps cancelling blaming traffic or other customers. These People are greedy and are absolutely not Customer Service oriented
