This company lies and misleads you to buy/sign contract!

I am filing a report on this company, Newport Holdings, Inc. They are currently building townhomes in Euless, TX. The townhomes are named Newport Village at Trinity.

I have lived in this community for over one year and have yet to meet a buyer who was pleased (to say the LEAST) with the way in which Martin Van Wolfswinkel or Jared Beesley conducts their business.

There is currently a LAUNDRY list of residents that have complaints about the way they were treated before, during and after the closing of their home. We are all currently working on a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT against the owner, Martin Van Wolfswinkel.

The homes offer many perks that other builders would consider an upgrade. You get granite countertops, crown molding, a third story media room in some of the units, marble fireplace, house alarm, state of the art appliances and wood flooring.

The problem with Martin Van Wolfswinkel is that he assures you and promises you things that NEVER come to be in a timely manner.

You will NOT close on time and if you do you will be left without one or more of the "perks" they offer. Martin and/or Jared will assure you tomorrow, today, next week but you are always given a NEW date to expect the work to be done.

You will NOT be left with any assurance on anything until you are there to see it done. EVERY resident will tell you that unless you are on them constantly they have no sense of urgency on the work you need done before moving in.

The pool and park they promised to us when we first signed our contract is STILL not finished.

There are signs in our windows warning potential buyers of the problems they will encounter.

Newport Holdings, Inc. Has a severely tarnished reputation with EVERY realtor in the DFW area. My realtor and others I have spoken to recently will say, "The houses are great but Martin Van Wolfswinel lacks a professionalism that builders need in the current real estate market".

Dateline NBC has been contacted regarding the business practices of Martin van Wolfswinkel. EVERY DFW newstation has been emailed and/or called requesting a full fledged investigation on Martin Van Wolfswinkel and his lackluster business practices.
