Economy Hardwood Floors
In Santa Monica took my money, hacked up my floors, and ran

I had a horrible experience with Economy Hardwood Floors and would not recommend this company. Brian Bradbury, the owner and the person who performs the floor repair, was supposed to fix the hardwood floors in a portion of my apartment before my lease was up at the end of July. He assured me that he would complete the job before then. I paid him and he began work on the floors mid-July. He said he would come back to my apartment to complete the job on July 25, but never returned and never called to explain why.

I called him over a dozen times over the next week and NEVER HEARD BACK from him; HE DID NOT COMPLETE THE JOB. He just took my money and ran. I moved out of my apartment with the floors half complete and continued to call him, with no response. I lost hundreds of dollars from my security deposit because Brian left the floors a mess and failed to complete the job as contracted. My landlord tried to contact him as well, with no response, and ended up having to hire someone else to fix the floors.
