Ashley Furniture - franchise Jack Burell (or Burrell), Ashley issued us credit toward defective couch. Store Bankrupt! We have a credit bal due on loan. Lost reciepts, need purchase record from store

We moved to San Luis Obispo last year. We purchased a sectional recliner couch from Ashley. They encouraged us to finance it through American Dream (American General Financial) with no interest for a year.

We recieved the couch right before Christmas but it was terribly defective. Ashley's manager, Jose, agreed and issued us store credit against future purchases for the amount financed.

Now the Santa Maria store is bankrupt with Jack Burell Inc/franchisee, not answering any calls when ALL I need is a cost copy of our purchases from their data base. Our tax box is missing and we despately need receipts so we are not paying on a balance of product we will never recieve from this company. The quality of the furniture is bad... And the customer relations was horrid. When the couch was returned they said that I was obliged to buy from their company... Gave me store credit... And now they are gone. Sheer sheisters!
