Poor work and service

C & S Flooring of Woolwich, Maine, installed the hardwood flooring in my new house several years ago. I have had problems with it from the start. The boards were not properly acclimatized and absorbed excessive moisture, resulting in cupping within the first few months. This was soon followed by buckling so severe that baseboards popped loose all over the house. Manager Chris Peck sent a team to make repairs, but these were temporary at best. When the floor buckled once again some months later, causing most of my closet doors to fall out, Mr. Peck ignored my repeated calls for assistance. I suppose he no longer felt responsible at this point. I therefore urge all potential C & S Flooring customers to take their flooring business to a reputable dealer, one that fully guarantees its work.
