Skip over B & M Heating Cooling and Plumbing in the phonebook. The workers are paid cash under the table, then check if they all have licenses and reputable referrals. Don't deal with people like this that deal under the table and have poor work ethics. There are much better qualified contractors to do business with than these morons. Notice there are NO websites boasting their business.

Go ahead do a google search. A reputable business would have some type of website or better referrals than word of mouth. You do get what you pay for, but these people deliver less than what you expect. If you have low expections and can live with finger pointing, and low level craftmanship then go with this bunch. You were warned.

First of all the family is a bunch of liars and do not know much about proper installation of air conditioners. They were suppose to install new air conditioners on our roof in the condo complex and caught the roof on fire. Then they tried to blame it on other people that were working on the job site. It was probably some ploy to collect insurance money.

The fat slob woman Iona Montfort is a thief who believes in paying cash for the expenses so the IRS cannot trace the money. She thinks she is smarter than the IRS. Ask their lawyers, why they were paid cash for legal services. Because they do not want any records of lawsuits. I am sure the IRS would love to talk with these thieves.

All in all I would definitely stay clear of the Montfort family, unless you like thieves and liars for your contractor. The Montforts are very deceptive people, they have listed three different addresses for their business. Anything from 2662 Ferry in Detroit, 5501 Grandy in Detroit, and 2218 Farnsworth in Lapeer. Why all different addresses probably to avoid any further lawsuits and the IRS cannot track them as easily. Always avoiding the law and avoiding to pay their taxes probably.

Stay clear of this group. Find a good reputable company for heating and cooling by going to the local hardware store and inquiring then have a possible contractor show you some examples of their work. Be extra careful about what is presented to you by B &M they over exaggerate and lie. Don't fall for any high pressure tactics to use their services. The Detroit area has many very good businesses to choose from. This is not a very reputable group to do business with.
