Overpriced teak furniture with hardware that disintegrated within one month

We found this teak outdoor furniture at the Boston Home Show. It is absolutely beautiful, multi-million dollar house quality or so it appeared. The sales man at the show said he was the owner. He told us all about the teak and his factory in Indonesia. We sat in the chairs for at least a half hour. We decided to purchase an extension table and 8 side chairs and 2 arm chairs that fold for a very large sum of money. We live on Nantucket Island so we inquired about shipping and he told us that his company hand delivers the furniture as part of the cost. This was in March and we would have delivery in early May.

When the end of May came around with out a call we called them and they said that there was a delay at the factory and we would get our furniture in June. It finally came mid June delivered by the owner/salesman. All of the screws were loose on the chairs and he told us just to tighten them. The free umbrella that came with the set broke first two days later. Now, one month later, the screws were falling out on their own. We went around and tightened them only to have them break of and disintegrate in our hands. They appear to be brass but the are actually a brass coated alloy screw that will not hold up to the elements out doors.

When I tried to reach Teak Tropical I found that the web site has shut down. There is a generic message on the phone and I found a site that the company is advertised for sale. I don't know what to do to get retribution for this shoddy construction. We paid dearly for this furniture and now we want our money back.
