It takes 45 days to honor a service agreement on equipment that is not a year old

I purchased a Jacuzzi in 2006. After giving Great Escapes my money and signing a financial contract it took over 6 weeks to deliver my product. That was not the agreement. Finally it's in and functional. The cover on the filters is not connected. The hooks are broken. They said I could just glue them back on. Amusing. I spend $8,000.00 to glue parts together.
Less than a year after my purchase I open my Jacuzzi in the spring after properly winterizing it and it's leaking really bad. I'm loving 2 - 3 inches of water per day. So now I'm paying a higher water bill. It takes almost two weeks to tell me that they can't come and fix it for three more weeks. So I am without the use of a product that I paid good money for less than a year ago.
Service suggested that I could still use it just keep refilling it. Service is not paying my water bill! Finally 3 and a half weeks after the service call to see they come out to actually service my Jacuzzi and replace a CD player with a radio that does not work.
There service center is not service at all and service is not what they provided. It took about an hour and a half for them to do something that I had to wait over 45 days for. It would only take a couple of minutes to replace my CD player but of course, it's obvious that their African American clientel is constantly placed on the bottom of the list. It's going to take another two weeks to replace something that they took out in less than five minutes, and replaced in the same amount of time.
To add insult to injury the pumps on one side of the Jacuzzi do not work at all... No pressure no power. So like the lemon cars I'd bet that Great Escapes is still selling products that have been returned and or are still in disrepair. I have one of them and I am extremely disappointed with the product, the service and the people. I'd really like for them to pick this crap up and retune $8,000.00. I could always find another place to spend money.
Final note, the sales person is incredibly friendly when he's making the sale "Andy Pellet". He did advise me after I made numerous calls to report a problem with my system that he does not have the kind of relationship with his CUSTOMERS, that he feels he should call them back when they have problems. He called quite a bit when I was purchasing my equipment.in fact he returned ever call and was just like a good buddy.
There's a word for people like Andy Pellet but being a person with spiriutal values I won't write it. I would suggest that people shop anywhere other than Great Escapes. Anywhere.
