When the sales associate showed up at my door to sell me an Apex alarm I was pleased, I'm a single mom and was having trouble with a mild stalker. I listened to him and decided to sign the contract AFTER making sure about the free move because I knew I would be moving in less than a year. Things went well except for a minor problem with them saying they didnt have my alarm city permit number which I called them twice to give it to them. Also I had to disconnect my glass break sensor because it constantly would set off the alarm.

I finally sold my house and called to have my alarm moved. Apex informed me of the 100 dollar moving fee! They told me that there is no free move and since they have no idea what the sales guy said I would have to pay the 100 dollars. After what seemed to be a hour on the phone they said they would give me a break and ONLY charge me 50 dollars (all the time constantly reminding me of all the wonderful feedback I gave them in a survey they sent to me a week after the alarm was installed). I just decided to give in and pay the money. They came and removed my system (the saleman told me it would stay and I would get a new one) then told me to wait for a moving packet.

A few weeks at my new house I called to set up a install. They told me I needed a moving packet and to call when I recieved it. A few more weeks went by... I called and again was told to wait for the packet. Six months later I'm still waiting while the payment is being charged to my credit card for a service they are not providing me! So I called again! They said there must have been a mistake and where going to finally send me a moving packet!

I asked how I would cancel my contract. He said I would have to pay whats left of the contract and send in my request. After we got off the phone a few minutes later I recieved a voice mail from another guy from Apex, asking me to call back because he can save me money! So of course I called. When spoke to him the first question he asked was "did the last guy tell you how much you owe?" and I said no he never told me and I didn"t ask. So he told me how much I owed and to send the payment in if I was to cancel. Then he stated that my case was being sent or reveiwed by billing and customer service for a breech of contractand they would call me back. HE NEVER told me how he would save me money. He just wanted to tell me how much I owe. So I wait for a call I'm sure to never get. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST APEX!
