Ripoff price gouging and replacing nondefective parts

A ripoff scam to defraud consumers by doing work, replacing parts that are not necessary. Plus charging exhorbitant prices (price gouging) for materials and labor that are not defined by item price or hourly rate.in addition, no sales tax was stated for material which seems to me to be a State law violation.

I spent $889 on 9 May to be able to bring this to the attention of authorities and consumer aide affiliates.

A similar thing happened one year prior with the price being the same ($889) for replacing the accumulator (a $79 part). However, when I said go ahead and replace it as it is within the 5 year warranty, they declined saying that they could not replace it as they could not get their money back money back and that I would have to pay the $889 to protect the compressor. I declined at that time to do anything.

That sort of tells the story of the Company's standard mode of operation doesn't it?

Contacted ABS on 5/11/07 and informed them of complaint and intended actions to contact "8 on your side" and the BBB. Response was that he would make a note and tell owner of Company.
