We signed up with a AMD security on a 2 year contract. IASG is the moniroting company used by AMD. We moved 3 years later. IASG states we signed a contract with them on an evergreen clause or auto-renewal clause. Which is in contract with AMD. However AMD is no longer in business. This company insists we owe over $400 for services we will not use for the next year and refuses to stop service at the home we no longer own. They continue to insist we signed a 3 year term when in fact we signed a 2 year term. We have writen the Better business bureau and they have sent us a letter IASG sent them stating we signed a contract with them. They continue to insist we must pay for 12 months of service we are not using.

They have offered to instal an alarm system in our new home with only 3 points of entry and we would have to pay them for the rest. We would also have to sign a new contract for 3 years. NO THANKS!

I do not recommend this company to anyone. Read you contracts completely. Cross out any auto-renewal clauses and have the sales person initial it. Find out who is going to be monitoring you and get it in writing. If the company goes out of business get them to agree to let you know who will be taking your business in writing. Don't let this company monitor you. They have offices in many states. It's not easy to find a person to speak with from this company and they are not customer service oriented.

Even if you didn't sign up with them, if they monitor you they will hold you to a false contract.
