Ripoff Unreliable

We were scheduled for a 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Time period to have our kitchen faucet installed. My husband took a 1/2 day vacation day to be home for this. They never showed. My husband called at 4:15 and they said we were scheduled for 12:30 to 2:00 p. M, which is not true since I repeated the time back to the receptionist and wrote it down.

Also - we wouldn't have taken that time slot since it would have been too early for us. Apparently - the plumber came by the house but left since we weren't home. He was supposed to leave a card on the porch - no card. They had both my cell number and home number - no phone calls at all to say "sorry we missed you".

Finally - they are not a local plumber. They advertise in our local directory with a familiar prefix to make you think it's a local family run business - it's not. Your call is redirected to I'm assuming Murrieta where they ask what part of San Diego are you in? That should have been my first clue.

I have to say the receptionist was apologetic and nice. But I don't appreciate being misled or blamed for something that was not my fault. And the fact that my husband can't get the 1/2 day back so now we have to wait a week to get a plumber out at night.
