Stolen money never delivered furniture non-payment ripoff

We purchased furniture from my kids room because we had seen ads on TV for years. We bought 2 bedroom sets and paid for them the same day. One set arrived 3 weeks later. The second set arrived missing a dresser. We were told the dresser was on back order until the end of the next month.

We waited until the end of the month and then started calling. We called for 2 weeks and then decided to go directly to the business.

When we arrived we noticed the doors were locked and the place was empty.

I called the manufacturer and wrote an email to them. This is the responce:

I am sorry for the experience you have had with My kids room. We are aware they have disappeared. We may have lost a lot of money on unpaid balances from this customer. Presently we are considering which legal remedies are at our disposal against the owner. He has not paid us for any delivery we have made to him since we started supplying him 3-4 months ago, and we completely stopped delivery 14 days ago, due to reasons of non-payment.

If you have paid with credit card for the merchandise, you should contact your credit card company. You may have a possibility of reclaiming some monies from them.

We dont have any record of any item on order from you. But more importantly, - we have not even recieved payment for the delivery of the furniture you have recieved from us through Mykidsroom.

The best suggestion is to contact another dealer and re-order the items you need from them. The closest dealers to you are either Bedroom Gallery, Tel.: (732) 845-0455, in Howell, NJ or Kiddie World Outlet, Tel.: (201) 727-1811 in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. I should add - both customers are in good standing payment-wise.

I am truely sorry you you have to go through this and I am am also sorry that we need to go through this.
