Contractors Choice Lighting, fraud - no intent of sending product, rude management, disregard for customer and joke of website with testimonials

We (national real estate company, NYSE, member of Building, Owners and Managers Associations (BOMA) placed a small order for rope lighting on October 19. Contractors Choice would only do business if paid in advance ($500 order) so we complied.

After countless calls to confirm payment was received, Contractors Choice admitted they received payment and would send product. No indications the product was on back order or not available.

In November, December and January, we called because still no product was received. Each time, we were placed on hold for long periods (30 mins) at a time, then passed from person to person but primarily spoke to Laurie, Wil and Pete. Rude, bad, or shall I say, no customer service skills. "Yep, we'll check into it and see what we can do, maybe".

As frustrations peaked, we requested a refund, in November, December and January. We have yet to see a refund. And NO, we NEVER received the product. Contractors Choice is not claiming to even sent the product!

Our recommendation, do not send money to this company. Unfortunately, we stumbled across the same complaint about Contractors Choice on the complaint site too late!
