I was first approached by one of their (Shoreline Shutters at that time) sales reps. He promised me the world. He said his shutters were the best quality and price, and they would be at my door four weeks from the time I placed my order. It sounded too good to be true, however he was a good salesman. I placed 7 orders (from seven different customers) right away. Four weeks later... 8 weeks later... 10 weeks later, months and months later, no shutters and no sales rep. Apparently, the sales rep quit, but not even the customer service would return my calls. When I finally started to recieve shutter shipments, they were warped, cracked, or just damaged in some way. They began to call me back and ask for money. I had paid half deposits on all these jobs. I lost thousands and thousands of dollars...
I can write a book on all the stories I encountered with these clowns. THe bottom line is this: They dont give you what they promise. They deliver really really late. They have a sub-par product. Their idea of customer service is to email you threatening messages, and not get back to you with service problems. I have documentation of every phone call and email from this company, oh, and timeline. Anybody else who has delt with this company PLEASE NOTE: they have changed their name once again to: BROADWAY USA, CHECK THE NEW PHONE AND ADDRESS TOO! Also please check on all the other rippoff reports on this website, there are many! One more story, the first order I placed with them was in April 06, the order is still not complete! IT is now Dec. 21-06... For those of you who dont know, if acompany has put negative marks on your credit there is something out there called "defamation of credit" that you can sue "somebody" for.
