No Service. Nothing but chronic problem with the spa we purchased and they refuse to help us. Ripoff

Purchased an $8,000 ALP hot tub from this company about 2 years ago.
We used a small local business thinking that the service would be superior to that of a big box provider.

We have had chronic problems with the tub, particularly one of the valves that divert water between jets. The initial valve split and was replaced under warranty with a valve that did not match the original. Just recently this replaced valve exploded throwing water everywhere while we were in the tub.

On a recent service call the mfg. Rep commented that we had many problems with this tub.

This is truly a mfg. Problem.

I went to this retailer hoping to get support with communication to the mfg. Our repeated problems with the tub. Not only was I told to call the mfg. Directly, the owner went into a rant about small business and me wanting something for nothing, and we never had our water tested at his facility, etc., etc.

I never asked for a free repair, all I wanted was their help with pressing the issue with the mfg.instead of the support I received rude behavior.

The bottom line here is that Home Pools and Spas offers sale of products but absolutely no support after the sale with the junk products that they sell.

Avoid this merchant.
