Defective products not replaced or refunded

I purchased a solar powered fountain from the company. I received it on time, but it never worked properly. The quality of the pottery bowls was very poor, and they chip and crack with the lightest touch. Next, the solar battery that they sent would never hold a charge for more than a few minutes. And finally, the day/night component that I paid extra for never worked at all. We had to turn the fountain on manually.

I talked with representatives at the company twice. At first I was told that the defective parts would be replaced. They were not.

In the second conversation, I was given a huge run around because "the time for returns had expired." I got so frustrated that I have stopped trying to get compensation from them.
