Ripoff

I too was ripped-off by Miller Plante. I recieved a phone call one day telling me, not asking, that they were going to send me their product and that if I didn't like to send it back within 30 days. Well, I recieved the package 3 1/2 weeks into the 30 days. Then, I tried to call them to find out how I had to go about returning it because I didn't need it and it would not work in my system. Well, I called their number, which by the way is long distance. I was put on hold for an hour and a half. This happened a total of three times. And, by that time, my time was up and then they had someone calling me wanting money. So, I told them what had happened and they said that it was now too late to send the package back. So, I was stuck with a bill.

Today (July 31) I recieved a call from a collections department for Miller. They are now filing suit against me on Wednesday morning at 9 am. So, at this point, I called the company again. It was like they knew that is was someone that owed them money. I asked to speak to a Supervisor and the lady told me to let her try to help first. I explained to her what was going on and I was told that they don't keep their customers on hold for an hour and a half and that I am responsible for the bill. When I started to raise my voice because she continuously tried to talk over me, she told me that she would not be yelled at. At that time I told her I would not be called a liar. She also said that there was no record of me calling them. Of course not, at the time I called, no one asked for my name or account number prior to being put on hold. She repeatedly told me that the things I was telling her were not right and finally I hung up on her. So, now, I will have a legal action against my credit.
