Ripoff Irresponsible Clumsy Contracto

While these guys didn't actually "rip us off", they did appear to be top graduates of the clown college.

This crew didn't seem to know anything about basic quality and protection of the owners property. From day one, they failed to properly protect the hardwood flooring (they usually applied no protection at all) and made numerous scratches and gouges all over it. The brand new cabinets were damaged many many time. Doors crooked. Countertops not even. Handles crooked. Hinges loose. He didn't know how to do a simple two wire heater hookup (I had to show him). Many things were going to have to be reworked if I hadn't pointed them out to them. Eventually, when HE made the ASSUMPTION that even if he would fix all the damage he and his crew had done that we would never pay him the almost $1800 balance, he walked off the job and left it unfinished (sounds like he was evading responsibility to us). The nerve of this guy. Now we're stuck with trying to get everything repaired and since him and the kitchen designer and the cabinet maker all appear to be one big happy family (Northwest Kitchen Design & Bellhaven Cabinets), none of them will followup on anything. Don't let that nice polite Texas drawl of his fool you. These guys may be good at simple framing/plumbing/drywalling, but they are NOT quality oriented. Want quality and professionalism? Don't hire these guys.

Oh, and by the way, since we had given him a garage door opener to gain access to the house while we weren't there and he never returned it when he left, we consider that stealing.integrity? Don't think so...
